On November 8, the 2025 China–Rwanda Vocational Education Seminar was held at Jinhua University of Vocational Technology. Attendees included Ephrem Musonera, Vice President of Rwanda Polytechnic; CHEN Hairong, Vice President of JUVT; and Emile Abayisenga, President of RP– IPRC Musanze. Heads and relevant staff members from JUVT’s Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Intelligent Manufacturing College, Business College and Architectural Engineering College also participated.

The two sides focused their discussions on core topics such as innovation in joint education models, optimization of joint student training mechanisms, advancement of four-year degree education, and the establishment of a Rwandan teacher training center, an engineering construction workshop and an International Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Manufacturing of Daily Necessities. They reached consensus on further promoting resource sharing, joint technology development and deep integration of industry and education.





During the seminar, Ephrem Musonera and his delegation also held a discussion with students of the Future of Africa-Vocational Education Cooperation Plan currently studying in China, learning about their study and life, and encouraging them to deepen their professional expertise and build a bridge for cultural exchange between China and Rwanda. In addition, the delegation visited Zhejiang Runma Guangneng Co., Ltd. to inspect the company’s production operations and talent needs, promoting tripartite collaboration among the two institutions and the enterprise in cultivating talent.
