From November 6 to 7, the 2025 China–Africa TVET Cooperation Dialogue & China–Africa TVET Cooperation Consortium Annual Conference was successfully held in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, under the theme “Deepen Industry–Education Integration and Build a China–Africa TVET Community”. The conference is part of the series of events of the 2025 China–Africa Economic, Trade and Culture Forum.

The event was guided by the China Education Association for International Exchange, the Association of Technical Universities and Polytechnics in Africa and UNICEF China; co-hosted by the Jinhua Municipal People’s Government and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education; jointly organized by Jinhua University of Vocational Technology and Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College; and co-organized by Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic University and AVIC INNO Project Engineering Company.

Attending and delivering remarks at the opening ceremony were YANG Jun, Secretary-General of the China Education Association for International Exchange; LI Hongdong, First-level Inspector of the Comprehensive Reform Division of the Department of Vocational and Adult Education, Ministry of Education of China; HUANG Liang, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education and Party Secretary of the Zhejiang Education Examinations Authority; HUANG Hui, Vice Mayor of the Jinhua Municipal People’s Government; Gilles Fagninou, Regional Director of UNICEF’s West and Central Africa Regional Office; Jahou Samba Faal, Secretary-General of the African Association of Technical and Applied Universities and Colleges; and LIANG Kedong, President of Jinhua University of Vocational Technology. More than 200 representatives from government departments, universities, industry organizations and enterprises across 15 countries gathered to discuss new chapters in China–Africa vocational education cooperation.
