On November 6, a delegation of 26 participants from the Senior Training Program on Cultural Creativity and Tourism Development for African Countries, led by John Lekakeny Ololtuaa, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife of Kenya, visited Jinhua University of Vocational Technology for a study and exchange program. JUVT Vice President LU Xiaozhen and heads of relevant schools accompanied the visit.

Themed “Empowering the Integration of Culture and Tourism, Jointly Promoting Skills Development,” the visit focused on exchanges regarding the cultural and tourism industries in China and abroad. Representatives from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Zimbabwe sat together with faculty from the School of Culture and Tourism to engage in in-depth discussions on the current status, practical experience and future trends of the cultural and tourism industries in Africa and in China (Jinhua).

The Senior Training Program on Cultural Creativity and Tourism Development for African Countries aims to draw on the advanced experience of various countries in cultural and tourism development and talent cultivation through cross-border exchange and learning, thereby helping to improve quality and upgrade the cultural and tourism industries in African countries.
