On November 2, GAO Wenqi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Rwanda, led a delegation to Musanze for a special visit to inspect the construction and operation of the Rwanda Luban Workshop.

At a symposium, Emile Abayisenga, President of IPRC–Musanze College, briefed the delegation on the basic situation of Musanze College and plans to carry out undergraduate-level joint education programs with Jinhua University of Vocational Technology. QIAN Xiangming, Chinese Director of the Rwanda Luban Workshop, reported on work progress in areas such as expansion and improvement of the workshop and its vocational training environment, training Rwandan faculty, and building an innovation and employment platform for China–Rwanda school–enterprise cooperation.

Ambassador GAO listened attentively to the report on the workshop’s operation, fully affirmed the progress made by the Rwanda Luban Workshop in training Rwandan vocational teachers and improving the vocational education environment, and expressed his continued and unwavering support for its development.

The delegation also conducted on-site visits to the workshop’s training laboratories, observed Chinese language teaching, and had cordial exchanges with Chinese and Rwandan members of the teaching team and students.
