On October 27, a delegation led by Ari Lindeman, Dean of the School of Business at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk), visited Jinhua Vocational and Technical University (JUVT).

During the discussion session, the Xamk representatives spoke highly of the outcomes of the summer school program in August, for which JUVT had invited 22 teachers and students from Xamk. They provided a comprehensive review and analysis of the program’s implementation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including the institutionalization of regular faculty and student exchanges and joint education programs, reaching a number of common understandings on further expanding areas and models of cooperation.

Following the meeting, Martin Chen, Overseas Project Officer at Xamk, delivered a special experiential lecture entitled “Experiencing the Unique Teaching Model of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences—Hackathon” for JUVT teachers and students. 

The delegation also paid on-site visits to the Electronics Innovation Workshop and the Kexiong Dual-Teacher Electronics Workshop at Waikato International College, the Remote Immersive Reality Laboratory, and the Business School’s teaching-oriented on-campus enterprise, Jinhua Shuangyi Network Technology Co., Ltd.
