On June 13, a six-member delegation led by Rutikanga N. Paul of the Rwanda Broadcasting Agency visited JUVT. Officials from the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda, the China Public Diplomacy Association, the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office joined the visit. Vice President Chen Hairong accompanied the delegation.
The delegation toured the Intelligent Precision Manufacturing Industry–Education Park, observed operation models of intelligent manufacturing production lines, and attended a hands-on demonstration on equipment principles and application scenarios for the course “Programmable Controller Applications” offered to Rwandan international students by the Intelligent Manufacturing College. They highly commended the University’s philosophy of integrating industry with education and combining work with study.
This visit laid a strong foundation for cooperation in areas such as technical and skilled talent cultivation and media communication. Going forward, the University will uphold openness, broaden international exchange channels, and contribute to the development of vocational education in countries along the Belt and Road.
