President Liang Kedong Attended the Opening Ceremony of the World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference 2024 and was invited to deliver a report at a parallel session of the conference

On November 21, the 2024 World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference opened in Tianjin. Chen Min'er, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Dongming, Vice President of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote report. More than 1,200 government officials, diplomatic envoys in China, representatives from international organizations and institutions from over 100 countries and regions gathered together to explore the theme of "Innovation Empowers the Future, Skills Enlighten New Lives" and promote the high-quality development of vocational education worldwide.

Liang Kedong, President of Jinhua University of Vocational Technology, attended the opening ceremony and was invited to deliver a report titled "From 'Collaboration' to 'Integration': The Connotation and Model of Quality Governance in Industry-Education Integration" at the parallel session on "Constructing a Vocational Education Quality Assurance System".

The World Technical and Vocational Education and Training League was established at the conference. As one of the 20 domestic institutions, Liang Kedong represented Jinhua University of Vocational Technology to participate in the first general assembly of the alliance. In the future, JUVT will work together with the first batch of 89 alliance members from 43 countries worldwide to promote international mutual learning, integrated development, and mutual benefit and win-win results in vocational education, enhance the quality and adaptability of vocational education, and jointly contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals.
