Chen Su, female, Han ethnicity, was born in June 1977 and is from Longhai, Fujian Province. She holds a Master's degree in Economics and a PhD in Management.

She began her first job in July 2004 and became a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in May 1998. She has successively held the posts of Deputy Director of High-tech Development and Industrialization Division, Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province; Director of Patent Protection Division, Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province; Director of Patent Supervision and Management Division, Administration for Market Regulation of Zhejiang Province; Member of Standing Committee of CPC Suichang County Committee and Deputy County Mayor (temporary post); Member of Standing Committee of CPC Jindong District Committee (retained at division chief level); Member of Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of Management Committee of Jinhua Jinyi New District; Member of Standing Committee of CPC Wucheng District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor (retained at division chief level); Deputy Secretary and Secretary of Political and Legal Affairs Commission of CPC Wuyi County Committee (retained at bureau chief level); Director and Secretary of Leading Party Members' Group of Jinhua Science and Technology Bureau. She won the title of Exemplary and Dedicated Official of Zhejiang Province in 2023. Her main research interests are scientific and technological innovation, economics, management science and other fields.
