President Xi Jinping proposed eight major initiatives on China-Arab practical cooperation at the first China-Arab States Summit and the seventh was the cooperation initiative on youth development. To promote the initiative and implement the following 10+10 cooperation plan between Chinese and Arab universities, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education has organized member universities and leading universities that applied for this cooperation plan to establish 10 university cooperation clusters. Focusing on 10 areas including information communication, agricultural development, health, green innovation, energy transition, cultural dialogue, youth development, public policy, aerospace, and trade and investment, these clusters aim to promote collaboration between participating universities. A total of 321 universities were selected as Chinese member universities in the plan, and Jinhua Polytechnic was included in the field of youth development.
